business cards :D

I wanted to make a set of designs that I could use as my business cards. The last one is the one I'm  currently using and the others are still in their sketchy stage. I'm still brainstorming ideas as to what they will be saying and if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know :D

Finished Poster :D

So this is it! :D Took a while but it payed off. I had LOTS of trouble with the type but thankfully I had some amazing ladies help me out. I find that that I'm slowly learning how type works, which is good because I really want to get a grasp of it. Next step: finish pieces for the show :D

Life painting at Kafka's

Trying to wrap my head around colors and how they are displayed in natural settings. I learned a lot doing this one and I hope to do many more. This was painted at Kafka's, which is an awesome coffee shop on Main and Broadway, with my friend Seth Ruthledge.

headless overlord

Just another quick Zbrush paint-over practice. I used the same torso that I had used for my previous experiment but I left the crazy drapery stuff out so that I could just focus on just the torso. This method is really growing on me mainly because of how quickly the forms develop and that I can simply change the angle of a character simply by going into Zbrush and tilting the virtual camera. The color was applied in Photoshop.

quick sketch+con sketch

Just a quick sketch of a frog in armor and a sketch I made at the Emerald City Comic Con. It was made for another art collective called Crabtank, who are an awesome bunch of people. Here is their website: http://www.crabtankink.com/. I started out with a quick pen sketch and then applied water color. It was really fun to make and I got an awesome print in exchange for it. Here ya goooo :D
